Thank you for visiting!
Readers understand that a good book is a reflection of only a small piece of a broad equation that tries to make sense of our world. Shakespeare, in my opinion, had the most keen awareness of human nature. I like the following quote from Julius Caesar, not because Cassius might intend to manipulate Brutus, but because of the metaphor it paints. Each journey through a novel is yours uniquely. It can uncover a part of yourself or the world around you- one never confronted before. Books help us grow.
“And since you know you cannot see yourself,
so well as by reflection, I, your glass,
will modestly discover to yourself,
that of yourself which you yet know not of.”
William Shakespeare
